St. Anthony Bread (S.A.B.)
We have an emergency pantry to help the less fortunate in our community.
We are open twice a month:
The 1st Thursday 9am-2pm
Also, the 3rd Thursday 9am-2pm and 5pm-6pm
" For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty, and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me" Matthew 25:35
St. Anthony Bread (SAB) is the outreach ministry of St. Anthony of Padua Parish.
We believe that feeding people in need is one way we can show the love of Christ and build trusting relationships with people in our community.
Parish and community volunteers order, pick up, organize, bag, and distribute food to needy individuals and families living in our community who are dealing with difficult life
circumstances. Clothing and hygiene products are also available to our clients.
SAB provides help to needy people in Johnson County through the generosity of individuals and groups who donate to support the ongoing work of the food pantry. In addition, ten percent of our parish weekly offertory collection goes to SAB to help fund this ministry.
Volunteers are always needed and welcomed.
